the consoles just came out, all of this could perhaps only mean developers have a shorter learning curve with Playstation's API or Xbox

It doesnt appear to from my time with it.

I think the developer capped the frames at 30 to keep it smooth on PS4.

Driveclub at 60 fps wouldve been

this is really not a closable gap. Xbox players just gotta be happy eating off past generations and mid-tier gamepass exclusives at this point. They don't have any 90+ rated console exclusives from last gen, even all the studios they acquired don't have 90+ rated games from last gen.

Forza Horizon 3 and 4 have 90+ metascores. Incidentally, they don’t really have much competition in their respective genre. Great games tho

And what is preventing the PS5 from improving and mazimizing their next console pro update to match or surpass XBOX?? Its not like PS will be sitting around. Their primary focus is effeciency over raw power.
