I went to a Fridays a few months ago in South Florida... It was a mostly black crowd... 'Hold on I am going on' came on... the black people in the resturant started singing along out loud on some kumbya shyt. Drake is big in the black community in south florida.

Outside of the personal insults, was he wrong tho? Drake, Future, and trap music, and OVO beats are all environment music. They bang in the right environment(the club, the whip, etc) but outside of those environments, eh....Drake nor Future are gonna topple the best rapper alive lists. And it's ok. They don't need to. Because his fanbase IS. Pretty much any popular rapper's fanbase is mostly white. You think they are making money off of the 12% of the population, when the record companies go after the MAJORITY? Black people like Drake but the majority of his fanbase, ie people who support him with units sold/tour tickets/merchandise is still white. If Drake's fanbase were mostly black his albums would do Ross/Meek numbers. The streets don't buy albums anymore. Period.
