The streets listen to Drake, they don't love him though. Difference. He don't get as much play as a lot of other street rappers.Drake has more fans of any demographic than any other rapper, the narrarative that the streets don't love Drake is ridiculous.
Every rapper has cac fans...
Who are these street rappers I live in the South Bronx know way more Drake stans than say Meek Mill stans...The streets listen to Drake, they don't love him though. Difference. He don't get as much play as a lot of other street rappers.
We're on difference sides. You assume that he wrote the rest of his shyt and I don't. I bumped the ride the other day and couldn't finish it. Turned it off.QM gave at most an 8 bar verse and a hook to Drake not even full 16's or entire songs. Even the songs where he contributed Drake still wrote the vast majority of the track. He was also credited on the tape.
The man has close to 1,000 verses and dozens upon dozens of songs those little reference tapes ain't do shyt for me. I dig his music and never ranked him as one of the greatest anyway. He's still my favorite rapper from this generation and will be until he starts releasing trash music.
Simple as that![]()
You know that's a lie man. Come on. I'm in the city everyday. I listen to the city everyday. I hear Meek in the streets more than I hear Drake. And when I say streets I don't mean random cars playing "Hotline Bling". I mean mixtape cuts, street hits. I was Downtown last night and was surprised I didn't hear that Future tape anywhere. I did hear someone playing Lord Knows though (Meeks).Who are these street rappers I live in the South Bronx know way more Drake stans than say Meek Mill stans...
Drake, Future, Fetty, Fab, French, 2Milly, GS9 been running NY this past year...
No, not the majority of TC. The Weeknd don't write raps he gave him some R&B songs. Drake put lyrics for those down too. We're on difference sides. You assume that he wrote the rest of his shyt and I don't. I bumped the ride the other day and couldn't finish it. Turned it off.
It's innocent until proven guilty. But once you are found guilty (on more than one count) it gives credibility to claims against you.
He didn't write majority of Take Care
He didn't some verses on SFG (according to Nickelus F. He said he wrote on SFG and drakes I'm going in verse)
He took lines from Shi Wisdom from NWTS.
Abel did a lot on Take Care.
Hush writes for him as well.
I can't cosign that. But that's because I'm into the music more than the image. I can understand if someone else was okay with it though

You don't know how much Hush does.
Hell the fukk no. You're bugging or just flat out lying. You know that's a lie man. Come on. I'm in the city everyday. I listen to the city everyday. I hear Meek in the streets more than I hear Drake. Drake is hot in clubs and on the Internet. Not in the streets.
See, for me, the way Drake handled the allegations was a big red flag. Dude didn't come out and play down the extend of his utilization of ghostwriters, he just ignored it and hoped it would go away. That was real funny to me, and points to the probability of more deception than was exposed, especially with all the other allegations and industry rep this dude has. If someone says you're taking steroids and you know you're clean, you say "Test me then." Ignoring and sidestepping is what guilty people do. But the bigger issue is that this dude is apparently ok with having people create whole flows and hooks for him, as long as they've been given writing credits. So we can only assume that throughout his catalog, any time we see another person on the writing credits, they're doing about half the work. That's a big no-no. Especially coming from a guy who was priding himself on his pen. I understand if you can compartmentalize the music and the artist, but I have trouble doing that. Just feels like a big, absurd joke now, especially with how boastful he is.QM gave at most an 8 bar verse and a hook to Drake not even full 16's or entire songs. Maybe drake subliminally dissed pac for pacs beef with the jewish defense league![]()
Exactly thisbecause they dont leave the house and have never stepped foot in a party or a club in their life. thats why they push their narrative on the internet because they cant push this shyt in real life.
Drake doesn't usually address his L's he just let the music speak. I see your perspective don't agree with it.See, for me, the way Drake handled the allegations was a big red flag. Also, QM was never credited on RICO btw.
