TLR went from being a really fun forum to a cesspool of trolling, gender bashing and attention whoring. The drop off in quality from when things first started jumping in 2012 to now is pretty noticeable.

On a lot of forums/message boards, there is security in place that allows a lurker to only view a couple of threads before receiving a "you must be a registered user to view this thread". Some also have an IP lock in place (cookie) that remembers you and makes sure you get that damn message the next time you try to open a few threads. The one website that comes to mind is that orgish one (autopsy) shyt that ain't letting you in without registering through their system. The coli is like the us/mexican border but with nikkas on the side just watching hordes of trolls, duplicated accounts, random guest, fbi, bosses, cops, exe's and even baby momma's flood into their site. All these people getting all of our information by not even signing up. Do something about it!!!! Damn. Why we always have to tell you guys what to do with this site? Got donations coming in, a store, new sections but no security in place to protect your users? Atleast make these above mentioned personel have to make an account...and even then, they should be given limited access until they've reached an reputable post count

I think closing off the forum won't help bring people in and lessen its popularity some people like to read rather than participate in discussions

there was thread of these Black women who got kicked off a wine train for making noise( basically a cac that did not want them there) got them kicked off the train and some posters came in there talking about how they aint shyt and said they were selling drugs now here the fukked up part one of the people who got kicked off the train was some 80 something year old women and he was shytin on her and he is still in the green

It's just a title for fun, matter of fact that concept of posters of the year was made by the posters not admins

A good example is best posters, its nothing but a popularity contest I've seen dudes win it who were average posters'

Even more so it should not affect your time on this forum, you know why? We have a ignore feature, you see those two poster's that you just mentioned I have not seen a post of there's over a year. Using the ignore features literally take's seconds

There are several trolls who have been banned so I commend the admins for that. But it often takes dozens of complaints for them to get that axe. You asked for examples of trolls well I can't remember his name off top but he constantly 1 starred POSITIVE threads down in the root. An example would be "what are the top 10 things the black community needs to work on" and dude would just 1 star all related threads. Not enough to make it obvious to many but that shyt was irking the hell out of me and others. I made a thread about him and then a week later he was banned. Last i seen, he was back. So no, a troll is NOT someone who agrees with "white people", a troll is a tool who uses this site to chastise it's users by doing small shyt like 1 starring, picking the ugliest people of the black community and using that as an avatar, negging you, agree with the most RIGHT-WING ideologies and has no regard for others peoples opinion. Not sure why I even had to explain that to you but whatever

Why not put in a neogaf type registration system here? Took me fukking 6+ months to get accepted and I had to use a non-free email. It didn't eliminate ALL trolls but it kept a lot of them out, made bans more impactful. What you think @mrken12 I know you got some ideas
