Breh, I literally listen to this song at least once per week.

I don't even remember how I discovered this song, but its been in my playlist for years. Love this beat and hook

He don't really have any memorable songs that people can remember and be like "yeah he did go in on that one song"
He has a lot of classics.

but he's never brought up because not only does he have a small catalogue but also because he pales in comparison next to even random 60's, 70's and 80's soul singers ...He has a lot of classics.
Off the top:
- I like them girls
- how you gonna act like that
- lately
- sweet lady
I guess I was talking moreso "crossover" hits like Usher and Chris Brown has, but he's not that type of singer to make music like that. He has more "soul" than those 2 imo.
A song like
has zero crossover appeal and its one of his best. Too much soul to appeal to "others"![]()
... ask an old head white person who they are for proof ... they however are seen as two of the best and that;s only two examples. You don't have to cross over to get listed as great ...
Breh the masses don't remember and probably don't even know none of these songs you just mentioned.
Even r&b heads would have a hard time remembering tyrese because he don't have any songs that would help him stick out amongst a long list of great singers.
People go off of memory and Tyrese just don't have any songs that would help them instantly remember him enough to mention his name into the conversation.
