The hood is a place where drug-dealing and ignorance is glorified tho, the hood has nothing to do with being black. We need to get educated and move out to the suburbs and have a larger black middle class tbh, make more majority black suburbs.

I actually think this is where the hood gained the violent and bad reputation. The white collar and educated blacks fled the cities with the white flighters to the suburbs, thus re-segregating the majority black population. As a result, the working class and poor class blacks are given the reputationby neo conservative blacks that live with whites that they are worthless, engage in bad behavior, etc. because they are still in the hood and don't leave. That's counterproductive to black progress and enhances white supremacy. Having more blacks that have gained education, and businesses staying in the black cities can re-educate the black masses and lead new programs to change the outlook and reputation of the society in general. We did it for a long time before white flight and deindustrialization, and we can do it again.

When I lived in the burbs in middle school the apartment complex was mostly filled hispanics and blacks with a few whites here and there.

That is an important aspect. gentrification is dramatically shifting racial demographics in major black US cities...all black classes are currently being pushed in mass to suburbs and whites are taking back their corporate cities. Its happening at such an accelerated pace that its crazy right now; hypersegregation and neo-apartheid is in full effect

Very bad. Whites take back their corporate centers and guess what happens? White mayors come back and opush out the black mayors that have been around since the 1970s. Although the black mayors haven't necessarily helped the black situation as much as we hoped, white mayors have shown to have little respect for the black plight and they will end the support programs that we need to survive. In the suburbs, that local, stat,e and national money is going to dry up and you will see housing projects built in the outer areas of the city. Its really bad for us because it is neo-apartheid; they are keeping us away from their precious corporate centers
