Why isn't "it too much too soon" for Balor?

Smarks want their guy, pathetic seeing Vince cave into the demands of a group of people who will watch no matter what
i think what people like you don't realize is anyone who watches this shyt in a way rather they like it or not are die hard/smarks/ or whatever. You can't make money catering to casual fans only, you have to realize these people are keeping your company going not the casuals.

You can't let IWC dictate your business

Taking the title off Flair and putting on Botcha Banks also was just :snoop: Money is in the chase

But seriously haven't we tried it the old way with cena? And that had fans running away, I know so many life long fans that tuned out after cena became unbeatable. I've seen the same thing happen when it was obvious reigns was next but reigns never had an impressive singles career, no big feuds no over catch phrases nothing. Just a big somoan who got pushed cause of his looks
He certainly didn't pay his dues in the WWE system. It's not like he's a once in a generation talent like AJ. He's a fairly bland and generic junior who got an immediate mega push in NXT at the expense of every other indie/international signing, was made face of the brand almost immediately, held the title for 10 months and defended it against all of 3 people, then got drafted before Brock/Roman/Cena/Orton, and on his first night beat the only male champion on the brand and the top star of the past year clean. He's been about as protected as anyone ever in the WWE system from day one. His push killed any and all hype around Itami, then made Joe look like a joke for months, damaged the US Championship, crushed legit teams with on the spot partners, and now took a spot from guys on Raw that desperately needed that bump up in the eyes of the crowd. I'm not sure the "paid his dues" argument really works with him.

It's hard to say all of this when the crowd loved it, all the smarky podcasts loved it. Just cause you don't like juniors/cruiserweights it doesn't mean that they don't deserve the same chances a guy like reigns is given.

My point to you 3 dudes that have been complaining since raw is give Finn a chance, if he fails then talk shyt. I bet y'all didn't think Rollins was going to be a good top guy. As a matter of fact there were multiple people saying he was a failure and only stayed champ because of his protection from HHH. Y'all said he was boring and made to look week. But he gets injured and is away and now everyone realizes how good he was.

I think his main point about Balor was that people saying he "deserved" this push are not seeing that he's gotten the same preferencial treatment a lot of wrestler have gotten and fans have hated them for it. I can't disagree with that, regardless if I think what happened on RAW last Monday was a good move (and I do).

RE: Rollins. I don't think that's the case at all. Most of the people thought Rollins was going to be a top babyface in the company, and those who initially thought he was going to be "forever midcard" when he was in The Shield, changed their minds pretty quickly as booking proved them wrong almost immediately.

Then when Seth became champ and got his big push there were 2 camps. 1) Liked him regardless of how he was booked because they liked his promos and the way he wrestled. 2) Didn't like him being The Authority's pet or his character and didn't think he was that good in the ring as a heel (I'm on that camp), shyt I stopped watching for a long ass time during his reign because everything was so damn boring.

The "failure" part is completely different thing. He was called a failure by some because well, he kinda was. His numbers weren't good by any metric and any other dude on that position would've been called on it, but Seth didn't get much flack because people focused more on WWE's incompetence and booking.

Now that he came back, I don't think "everyone realizes how good he was". He just got a long break from the shytty booking he had and the product stayed as shytty as it was before he got injured, so as any wrestling star that returns after a long time gone (6+ months), he got treated as big deal by fans, that always happens. But as a performer he's the same as before, I and others still think he should be a babyface and that he isn't that good in the ring working as a heel, but the majority view him as a great wrestler and now that he doesn't have The Authority his character is less shytty.

Still a faster push than Reigns
Because some people don't like that reigns didn't have to prove himself as a singles guy after the shield with lesser titles . Finn put in 2 years in NXT and a decade outside of wwe

I thought it was a pretty nice debut for Balor. Especially considering how high he was drafted. However, I really don't think he should win the title at summerslam. Like @TheGodling said, dude had a horrible NXT reign and he's not that good on the mic or in the ring.

Has a cool entrance but that's about it

I've been more interested by Roman matches than Finn matches too :manny:

And the best part of the Punk's "make Roman look strong" thing is that it literally had nothing to do with Roman. It was a commentary on WWE creative/Vince, not Roman. Yet smarks ran with that shyt and put it 100% on Roman, as if he somehow has been booking himself this whole time. That whole meme started from wrestling fans being to fukking stupid too realize he was insulting the writers.

Roman beat Punk clean in basically his first solo match, and Punk farewell match in January 2014. The storyline was Punk instigating the Shield breakup by saying Roman could do what Seth and Dean couldn't. Remember storylines better.

Once again, no facts or counter arguments. Just useless emotional insults. It's time to grow up and learn how to have a conversation boys.

You posted that the fans love Finn because he's white and small. You also assume NJPW to be an 'indy' which is a dumbass comment on par as Raw is in danger of being cancelled. Curious events goes on in your head.

This is what Roman haters never want to mention. Roman was by far the most popular member of Shield. Crowds didn't turn on him until they realized he was going to get the WM slot over Bryan, when Bryan was physically unable to be trusted in the first place. Then you couple that with the Punk/Cabana podcast about 2 months before the Rumble, and suddenly enough people had turned on Roman to tank the next year and a half for him. All because he wasn't Danny Bryan. Once shyt catches on on TV, it spreads everywhere.

And they are STILL mad at Roman for getting the push over Bryan, when Roman getting picked over him was proven to be the right choice not even a month after WM.

This is all lies and you know it. :camby:

You're asserting that Roman Reigns is resoundingly booed nationwide, the same way each time (including 100,000 people in Texas) because he was booed in Philadelphia in January 2015? Dubious.

You also asserted that Roman Reigns by far was the most popular of the shield. By what metric? Show us.

If they let Seth loose, probably. Seth has improved a shyt ton on the mic :ehh:

And Finn ain't that good on the mic so I expect him to be outshined by Rollins

Rollins ain't Cena so don't expect him to be buried on the mic.
