Why isn't "it too much too soon" for Balor?

One of the biggest criticisms for Reigns' push was that it was too much too soon, well how come the same isn't being said for Balor? :jbhmm:

In one night he went over four of the biggest stars on the RAW roster, pinning the US champion and a former multi time world champion, while securing a slot in the main event of the second biggest PPV of the year. Reigns was on the main roster for two years and was a member of the most dominant faction in recent memory, so what's the justification for this Balor super push?

I know fans like who they like and dislike who they dislike but the overt Reigns hate never made much sense. It's especially odd seeing you guys celebrate someone who has the same pitfalls as Reigns (pushed too soon too fast, not a great promo, lacks personality but delivers in the ring).

For the record I like both but I just don't understand the blatant hypocrisy:francis:

First of all there's no hypocrisy. One guy is good and OVER, the other isnt. Secondly, one strong night on Raw is in no way comparable to a 2-year Superman push. I dont think anyone is expecting Balor to win the title and suddenly be unbeatable at the top of the card from here on out. If that happens then we can at least compare them but as of now this thread is nonsense.
