And the best part of the Punk's "make Roman look strong" thing is that it literally had nothing to do with Roman. It was a commentary on WWE creative/Vince, not Roman. Yet smarks ran with that shyt and put it 100% on Roman, as if he somehow has been booking himself this whole time. That whole meme started from wrestling fans being to fukking stupid too realize he was insulting the writers.

Context.

The actual context of "Make Roman Look Strong" had nothing to do with Roman. The point of the story was WWE's creative team and management were treating Punk like he didn't know how to do the job he'd been doing for 15 years, and it pissed him off. It could have been Santino. It could have been Ted DiBiase Jr. Roman was not the point of that story at all. Punk was making faces at the idea that management even had to tell him to make his opponent look good.

Oh i agree that Roman shouldn't be hated at this point, but this is what happens when you try to force things instead of letting things naturally happen. Had Roman paid some legit dues before his push, the fans would have been behind him. But that's not at all what happened. Sheamus is another guy like that, though I completely loathe him.
