I hear what you're saying but my thing is: Many players make this their offseason home and if the Hawks were a better franchise I have a hard team seeing a high profile player turn down an offer to play here. Current ballplayers care about the current environment for winning (roughly the last 5-7 years), who is gonna sit here and say they're not choosing to play in Atlanta with the Hawks because Fulton County Stadium used to be by what was Turner Field 20 plus years ago?
