Please say something basketball related. The coliseum is train wreck and has been all year. Any honest sports discussion would be welcome. shyt you could start talking about the Minnesota Wild in here and I would try to help just to get actual sports talk flowing again.

Nobody should be throwing hands because of a discussion about the GOAT sport :whoa:

But for real there has to be some kind of objective medium between "Kobe is a chucker/fakkit/etc." and "LeBron is a choker/beta/etc." Never really seen two sides be so far apart on where they stand on the other player.

LeBron stans can be annoying, but they can be ignored and don't really derail threads like this. Every year there's 3-5 Kobe stans on the ballot because they pattern their style after swagnificent. The award is named after him and they've combined to win it 4 of the last 5 years. They do this shyt in real life too. My brother nearly was ready to start swinging when he was trying to argue that Kobe was great in 2014-15 and deserving of his all star spot, as well as his last few all defensive teams. I really don't get it. I was always a huge Shaq stan but you could still see how he would get lazy on defense and was too prideful to work on his foul shots. I heard they even started a civil war back on :hamster: with the lakers fans back then. Basketball fans are too prone to nostalgia and stannery. That's why @Malta is so well respected on here. He rarely gets caught up in such foolishness and can always be counted on for a level headed breakdown.

I'm a warriors fan but I recognize Lebron's greatness. I recognize Kobe's great, but he only has Lebron beat in one category - creating his own shot. Kobsexuals, on the other hand, just tear down any player that gets more attention than their idol. There is no reasoned discourse to be had with them.
