Have you seen their shyt lately? Go to Nike.com

All their shoes are ugly af, The t shirts and clothing are even uglier

Bring the 90s design team back. Everything that came out then was pure crack

Yea breh,

The new shyt looks cheap as fukk sadly! I remember the last few times I was in the employee store and looking to spend my money. I literally literally walked out that bytch without spending a dime. They just don’t have any heat or exclusives like they used to.

For us :old: heads that were around in the 80's when they blew up ridiculously, we can see the differences. First of all they don't have a Michael Jordan. Much of their intended consumers today were not even alive when he played. The marketing campaign in the 80's and 90's was CRAZY. And it all fit in so nicely with the new "Air" line. Your biggest athlete is also the biggest on the planet and the fact that he had so many "aerial" highlights, it helped promote the whole "Air" line. They had dope azz commercials, even having music from hip hop to the Beatles. And during this time Adidas and Puma weren't doing sh!t, and brands like Hoka didn't exist.

Who is Nikes star today? LeBron is old. So is KD. You fukked up with Steph. Zions athletic ability would have been great for the brand but dude is always hurt. Ja is hurt a lot too and has had too much off the court shenanigans. Whose your big 2020's NBA star?

And these new prices? I remember when the only shoe that was $100 were Jordans. Thats a bargain today. Dunks were out back in the 80's. they were like $50.

I don't understand who's buying all these Jordan 1s. They release like 3 new colorways every month while starving US of shoes we ain't seen years.
Virtually all the young buls and chicks at my job rock 1s. You right about the color scheme. They just don't look like the type of shoe to wear on a job where you getting >15k steps in a day.

Plus, Nike got lazy as fukk and stopped innovating. They believed that the Jordan brand and retro kicks could carry them forever and when the quality and material isn’t the same as the original, it starts to lose its luster.

I’m a Nike lifer, but I don’t even like the most recent shyt they put out

Plus, they keep fumbling, the bag bedding on the wrong athletes to make the face of the brand. I really don’t like the way they are oohing to sell Kobe gear and merchandise but at the end of the day it’s all about the dollar.
Facts.

90% of their shyt looks terrible...not even talking quality, just aesthetics.

They release the same damn Jordan 1 colorway for the 50-11th time in a calendar year. The styles people like most are the retros, but once you have all those...what else is there?

No innovation. Then clothing, these dudes wanna charge $70 for some sweat pants. You basically pay 20% to 50% more for the Nike logo.

:heh: if they can convince people to stop wearing jogging pants everywhere they go, they may be able to convince people to wear sneakers again. I was at a funeral a few weeks ago and almost every young person there was wearing joggers and a hoodie with some kinda workout shoe or slides. I felt old for the 1st time in my life. Like, I might wear that to make a quick run or something but these young cats dress like hobos everywhere they go.

Joggers at a funeral hell nah 😭😭😭
