They had a chance. Steph was signed to Nike First. When it was time to renew, they didnt take him seriously and had a powerpoint slide for Kevin Durant in his presentation lmao
The fake sneaker game is unmatched now. You can't tell the difference anymore and some of the shoes are made in the same factory.
My cousin is 18 and he buys fakes and everything about them is true to the original.

All this!if they can convince people to stop wearing jogging pants everywhere they go, they may be able to convince people to wear sneakers again. I was at a funeral a few weeks ago and almost every young person there was wearing joggers and a hoodie with some kinda workout shoe or slides. I felt old for the 1st time in my life. Like, I might wear that to make a quick run or something but these young cats dress like hobos everywhere they go.
A lot of the new shoes they make are strictly made to be wore with joggers, sweats etc

I ordered my nieces some Nike slides from Nike.com for Christmas. One pair showed up and it was the complete wrong shoe. The other pair never shipped. They kept telling me the shoes were expected to arrive on Dec. 23. When the first pair, that was wrong, arrived on the 21st and I saw that the other pair hadn't even shipped I called them. It took 45 minutes to get someone on the line. When they finally pick up the phone they tell me that they never actually had the pair that hadn't shipped in stock. They were just stringing me along just in case a shipment came in. But if it didn't, they were just going to cancel the order on the 23rd when they were supposed to arrive.
I was like....why the fukk wouldn't you just tell me they weren't in stock? That makes no sense. And why wait until the 23rd when I'd have almost no chance to get something else?
Lady on the phone was like
. She didn't give a shyt at all. She told me she would take my feedback and give it to the company . So I told her to just eat the cost and overnight me a different shoe in a different color. She said she couldn't do it. I told her to cancel the order. She said she couldn't do it. I said fukk it and ordered the shoes from Amazon. They came the next day. SMH. I had no idea at the time Nike was struggling but I believe it.

Besides no one wears basketball shoes casually anymore. Other than the legend blues which I had to come out of retirement for and probably won't wear. I've just been buying their Air Max classic retros the past few years. I did pick up the spiridons too but if I'm going on vacation and no I'll be at my feet for 12 hours I would much rather use Adidas or New balance because they're actually comfortable.
