Was just coming to say that Dodge Vipers are a nice foreign alternative.
American cars have a wrap for being raggedy mechanically & not pleasingly aesthetic...until lately.

Ford focus rs 350hp can rival the m2
Camaro,Mustang 5.0 and gt350 can take m3 and m4
Ford gt and Corvette takes on audi r8
