I don't understand how Ubisoft could do stealth so well in a fps like far cry 3, but leaves out some of those mechanics in a stealth based game like assassins creed. Makes no sense to me. Will be nice to see some real stealth gameplay return to the series.
stealth was pretty good in AC Brotherhood war mission where you had to sneak into that castle like building before getting Leonardo's flying contraption

I have 1 and 2 but never finished either. They were real cool, story was dope too, but around 10-15 hours in I just dropped them. Like someone else said, too repetitive, and after the 10-15 hours, the novelty of being a bad ass assassin dude wears off.

I can never get into assassin's creeds games and I've tried soooo many times. shyt is the definition of repetitive and when will the combat get actually complex and skillful?
That's what I said originally, but this is cool to me.

Right now I'm just trying to stack up cash to buy more gear and customize my ship. Been completion all the treasure maps and exploring.

Fought an alligator in the Bahamas I didn't know some of the animals come at you like that

I'd read threads where guys would be asking about titles to pick up after grabbing their next gen system and wouldn't even see it mentioned.
Slept on game. 40+ hours of gameplay and fun as hell.
Wasn't a fan of ship battles initially, but they grew on me.
Nothing like incapacitating a Man 'O War vessel and climbing aboard by yourself and single handily wiping out the entire crew.
AC Unity should be even better considering it's not cross gen and tailor made to take advantage of the PS4/XB1.

see i'm one of those guys. I copped AC4 at launch and barely got into it. I only finished 50% of AC3 and this was after finishing both AC1 and AC2. I'm over here OD'ing on TLOU remastered, but I haven't went back to finish up that AC4 black flag :snoop:

and the funny thing is that game is dope as hell.

Agreed.
They wrote themselves into a corner when they created Ezio. He's right above John Marston from Red Dead Redemption last gen as far as great protagonist goes. Edward was cool to me because his character at least showed growth.
He went from "Get rich or die trying," to actually fighting for something other than his pockets.
I think they just messed up a bit by making the change from pirate to assassin so late in the game.
By the time he finishes chasing fame and fortune, 85% of the storyline is over.
The tidbit with his daughter and his reflection at the end was well written, too. He isn't Ezio, but at least he wasn't Connor.
yeah I was vexed about the fact that it took them SO LONG for edward to change. i was like yes.. he's finally converting.. and then game over :dahell::birdman:
worst part about ac4 is that he never actually had any assassin training but somehow is a master assassin.. with eagle sense as well:wtf:
hopefully unity will be so good i stfu about the gripes.. but i ain't coppin a ps4 til it's at least 30% off retail

The animals are way more ruthless in AC 3.

They talked about it in his bio thing where you get to read about all the characters I think.

Somehow he got Assassin training while in Nassau I believe. It didn't go into too much detail, but it was before he mucked the other assassin and took his identity

Before he killed Walpole?? :wtf: fukk it I don't even care, I'm just disappointed they ended his story by having two bytchass mercenaries kill him. No Black Flag 2 :manny:

Hey, is there any advantage to playing Black Flag on Wii U? It's cheap, but I've wasted so many hours of my life playing this on PC.
