I don't know how anyone can say OKC lost in the trade. They really had no choice but to trade Harden. In the process they back a couple of picks, a vet that can fill the void, and a young prospect in Lamb.

He is not even close to Harden and can't replace any of what he did outside of a little scoring.

Harden was the primary ball handler when he was in the game and initiated a lot of their offense. Martin will never do that.

Martin could only dream of having the type of game that Harden had tonight.

OKC don't need Martin to do anything other than score 10-15 points. Maynor is going to run the offense for the bench. People continue to just look at this as Harden's overall game vs Martin's overall game. Harden is gonna look great possibly because he is now option 1 for the Rockets, so his numbers may end up looking great. Martin is coming to a team where he is option 3 or 4, he doesn't need to do anything spectacular just score 10-15 a game.
