OKC don't need Martin to do anything other than score 10-15 points. Maynor is going to run the offense for the bench. People continue to just look at this as Harden's overall game vs Martin's overall game. Harden is gonna look great possibly because he is now option 1 for the Rockets, so his numbers may end up looking great. Martin is coming to a team where he is option 3 or 4, he doesn't need to do anything spectacular just score 10-15 a game.

Martin is a blackhole in offense. he feels obligated to his touches. you'll see

he'll know his role on that thunder team. he'll take a backseat when durant and westbrook are on the court. and besides after the season, martin probably won't be back and they'll work Lamb into the rotation for the 13/14 season.

And against single coverage, with the defense focusing on OKC's bigger names, Kevin Martin, with his J and his athleticism is gonna EAT!

OKC will be fine. In fact, OKC's real problem, as it has been for the past two years, is getting scoring from their big men. That is the issue that has been their undoing.

Can't wait til they amnesty Perkins and get a big man that can score at least 10 points per game. If perk can get 10-12 per game OKC would win the west all the time.

Kobe is on the decline, KD35 da gawd will pwn him, he's younger and quicker.
Perkins is D.Howard's kryptonite
Sefalosha has mwp on lock.

Pau Gasol finna do work?

fukk outta here.

Western Conference still belongs to OKC regardless\ if they won or lost on the Harden trade.

LA is stocked with OLDS.

Let's not forget OKC's bench :dj2:

Lakers gonna get exposed for their lack of depth and will look like :flabbynsick: :sadcam:

Aw man, it's gonna be fun watching OKC rape the West this year. That's my Thunder, wish Harden was still on board. That's my beard, rotting away in Houston for the next 6 years :to:

OKC is sorely gonna miss Harden's ball handling and ability to create for himself and others. Kevin Martin cant do that.

Why do you folk keep sayin this? That's what Maynor is for and Westbrook/Durant will up their playmaking duties. And Martin can create for himself (obviously not to the level Harden can).

Why exactly would they throw their money at Harden and be so out of balance with being top-heavy that they got NOBODY down below? You say outside of Durant and Westbrook they don't have enough options - but what happens if there was no Ibaka?

He aint the only cat in the league who can weakside shot block while being limited offensively and be a mediocre one on one defnder

You dont give a player of that description a shytload of money you can sign one for much cheaper somehwere

OKC may be hurt by this trade this year but in the long run they did what was right for their franchise. Whose to say that Lamb and Perry Jones won't develop into solid players.
