Downloading isn't illegal, however Popcorn time is built off of Torrents, so you're seeding (uploading) while you stream, and once you upload you're basically viewed as a distributor so PT is illegal. A lot of the plugins for XBMC are strictly streaming with no seeding or uploading taking place
If these dudes are using Popcorn time they better have a VPN, dudes on Reddit already got letters for using that site.
Knew there was a catch. So this XBMC thing is it as straightforward as Popcorn time? I was watching movies withing 5 minutes of installing it and the interface was very easy to navigate not to mention the video quality was on point.
Xbmc is a clusterfukk. Addons dont install half the time, streams buffer, a billion streams you have to filter through etc (in my experience).Its good for live tv if you can find a good stream. Ive been using Popcorn time for the past week and its a godsend. Click and play. Nothing complicated, no buffering. Crystal clear HD. Also, most of the people who got copyright letters lived in Germany from lawyers trolling for settlements.

I know I look at my bro, sometimes like that, but he's no novice when it comes to torrents. He even got a couple notifications for illegally pirating weeds back in the day.... the only difference is now, breh actually works in the app industry so he supports other businesses through model behavior....

I'd love to watch what I want to watch when I want to watch it, but I have zero tech skills and all the viruses and trojans out there scare me. Netflix gives me access to a bunch of shyt I wouldn't have had access to before without worrying about the scary crap. I don't need cable, or to see something immediately, when there's Netflix.

Addons don't install half the time and streams buffer? You're doing it wrong breh, I watch HD streams with GOtv on one click, it's setup so that it prioritizes links and auto plays the ones that work.
I've been hearing that you can get a notice in the mail from your ISP if you use Popcorn Time, which means you'll have to use a VPN. Plus, when I was using it, I couldn't watch the videos unless you have enough space on your device. Isn't PT basically torrent?
