PFF has gone to complete shyt.

PFF says rush defense is overrated because they don't know how to fit it into their analytics.

They said Anthony Zettel was the Lions best run stopper when that nikka hasn't made a play against the run in his career ..nikka got cut this week due to that fact :mjlol:

Don't let these nerds throw out numbers and just accept what they saying blindly

if you can't stop the run you can't stop the pass either it's that simple. I dont care if you have the legion of boom back there if i can get 5+ yards every run play you losing. Good defensive teams stop both. Rex's defenses kept him in games he could never get a decent qb or the offense going to take advantage of it.

The jaguars had one of the worst run defenses in the league last year but were number 1 against the pass and the number one 2 Defense.
The chargers were DEAD last in opposing yards per carry but were a top 3 scoring D.

So this isn’t close to being true

The final 4 playoff teams were all top 10 in rushing though

Infact, 9 of the top 10 rushing teams from last years revular season went to the playoffs

Cacs just love to spin useless numbers imo :yeshrug:

Yeah when great teams are up big they run the ball in the second half to chew up clock after they got the lead passing the ball

:mjlol: shut up cac

Good run games open up the passing game. You really think those teams were in the top 10 because they just ran the clock out in the 2nd half of games

1.)I’m not a “cac”

2.)Where is your evidence to suggest the bolded? These tired narratives have been debunked years ago

Say what you want but this is still football. Running the ball well is demoralizing for an offense and a defense. View any sideline and everyone looks pitiful.
