I’m hoping one of the bruhs from Charlotte can jump in and help you out with finding places to live but I’ll tell you what I can. Mallard Creek/University area are pretty good for me. I work with a couple folks who bought homes in those area and they live it there. I hang out there most because I live closer to that side. Concord/Kannapolis maybe Huntersville are a couple options. And yeah they’re building all these high priced ass apartments and shyt. I’m like are they really filling them shyts up?

Lol. I live in Highland Creek--which is close to both University area, and Concord Mills. To me it's perfect because in both spots, there's plenty to do. But it's a commute if you work uptown.

So for a new bruh in the area......uptown would be an ideal place to get a spot right?

Naw, not to me at least. Matthews is probably the best area to live in tbh. Harrisburg next, then Concord. I'm in the University area.

Why is Matthews the best? I don't go to Matthews very much, because it's far, but I'm curious. My sisters lives in Plaza Midwood, and loves it. She works in uptown so it's close to where she works, diverse, and close to the city.

I like Charlotte so far. I moved here back in Feb, from Philly. I don't know how anyone can hate on it.

Nicer homes, community, shopping areas, etc. It's the suburbs.

I am planning a trip to charlitte in a week or two. Whats so special about Mathews?
Is it ideal for a single bruh moving there alone
Maybe not a single dude lol. It depends on what you want to spend on a place. I do wish I lived in the city whenever co workers want to go out but then I get over it later. Would anybody recommend Plaza Midwood or Noda? I mess with them areas heavy too.

Edit: How could I forget South End?? Smh.

Lol, I'm a woman. But, yeah I think close to uptown is probably ideal. As I was saying in another post, my sister lives in Plaza Midwood, which is close to uptown, and diverse, but not as expensive. She loves it up there. For me personally, I've always liked the suburbs. I like where I live, but where I live is also only about 25 minutes from uptown, so it's not bad.... Really where you live is going to depend on where you work. Because depending on where you work, the commute can be bad...

The only complaint I would probably have is the commute. I live in Concord/Kannapolis abc it takes me about the same time to get to work near Uptown.

Okay. Just saw the video... It looks like any other suburb lol.

TBH, I had considered Matthews at one point, but went with Highland creek.

I love Highland creek so far, because of the amenities, the proximity to university area and concord mills, and it's not too far from uptown, the elementary schools is also good and diverse. Matthews wasn't very diverse to me, which is why I think I leaned toward highland creek.
