Nah. He didn't "love" the game. Basketball wasn't his first love. That was football.

naw i disagree with that. Yea he loved football first but u can't watch a dude as passionate and competitive as AI was and say he didnt love the game. He went harder than everybody else on the court. He'd hit the clubs but then be going full speed all game. Gave his body up all the time. He wasn't dedicated to it. but he def loved the game

Ronaldinho won everything. AI won nothing.

That’s cuz in soccer it’s easy for big squads to stack teams plus there’s many trophies to play for during the year. AI didn’t play in the super team era and there’s only one trophy to play for.

I don't think he meant it literally.. just giving an example.
It is. But I think it's important to nip hyperbole in the bud.
Especially on sports message boards where stannery runs rampant and even the most ridiculous tales become accepted as a phony broader truth over time.

Translation: I knew it was hyperbole, but I decided to catch fake feelings because I saw Kobe’s name.

Is there an example of a guy known not to put the work in that became a champion(as the main guy)?

Brehs holidays in Brasil would always run longer than supposed to. Would party into the early morning hours :wow:

He had a good 5yr run..a World Cup, LA Liga and a Champions League before he was 27.
