These two should be the face of the WWE...Cena and Orton are washed up. I was watching some matches on YouTube, every time Daniel Bryan was out there the crowd went crazy.

Same thing with CM Punk, I dnt think anybody is touching his mic skills. They need to give more push to these two.

Just because you can put on great matches and you're above-average on the mic, doesn't make you Hogan, Austin or Rock. Any hate towards Punk/Bryan is pure backlash from their stans acting as if they're on the overall level of the previously-mentioned megastars. They're not, and chances are they never will be. They're more on the level of Bret Hart and HBK.

Nobody hates Bryan. It was just fun watching HHH do what he does best. Bryan will be fine. As for Punk, losers find a reason to hate anything good. They are still waiting for juice injury prone Dwayne and a half disabled Austin to come hobbling through those doors.

Lemme stop, I forgot I can't have an opinion around here or certain posters will whine and pout. :mjpls:

Bret Hart and HBK weren't megastars? :what:

I'm hoping these they get their shine at Mania, cause I know those two would put on a classic if they get a match with each other
It doesn't matter who you put Bryan with at Mania...it's gonna be a near classic. He's one of the greatest workers of the last two generations. He's been held back in tag matches and pre show bullshyt with pale looking motherfukkers. Punk has had multiple matches at Mania..the ones anyone cared about were spotfests and the usual good Taker match that we see every year these days.

The moment when they came face to face at TLC (was it TLC with the main eventers match and the all-heel match?), there was a spark of electricity there. You could feel the excitement as they circled each other. I hope someone noticed.

What's the use of Punk being good on the mic if he has to job to a non-heel Triple H for no reason? Where's the storytelling? What are people supposed to care about?
That's why the ratings are down and Punk/Bryan do not deserve the heat on that because they more than do their part.

Hogan wasn't really a superhero and Austin wasn't really an outlaw, but all the elements around them were aligned to make them seem that way. I'm not guaranteeing that Punk or Bryan could reach that mega level, but they don't even have a chance the way shyt is set up.

If we focus on just his singles matches Punk's had at mania. I think they were Orton, Jericho, and Undertaker. All 3 matches were good to me. With Punk, it seems like if he's into the fued or match he usually goes all out, but you give him bullshyt, he just goes through the motions. You put him in a feud with somebody he likes to work with, you usually get good to great results.

And let's not act like Punk ain't been put in bullshyt either the first title feud with the WHC belt which lead to him getting jumped by legacy and punted by Orton, he had to forfeit the title, and no payoff came from that, the second run with the WHC title and the whole "suitgate" shyt with Undertaker, and especially after the whole pipebomb shyt, Punk was at the top of his shyt, and dude had everybody going nuts, and the whole storyline had potential to be great, but then he was put into the Boxcar Kids mystery trying to figure out who put the call into Nash, which lead to a shyt match match with HHH and then with Del Rio, good match, but shytty story.

Who gives a fukk if they ain't Rock/Hogan/Austin level... do you know how huge a star someone has to be to be on that level? If that's the case, then I guess fukk everybody who was ever over. If they weren't on the same level as the three biggest draws in all of wrestling history who sparked boom periods in the business, what does that have to do with whether they're great or not? That's some silly shyt if I ever heard it. Do you watch wrestling according to what you like to see or what everybody else likes? That ratings shyt is just message board trash... WWF was doing the same numbers they are now back in "our beloved 1997" that everybody says was so great. Know why we think it's great? Cause we didn't give a fukk about a segment-by-segment or quarter-hour rating breakdown.
