:mjlol: At people saying giving up 10 million was simple because he wanted the championship. I'm sure his money is straight but giving up that much is ridiculous. So when he doesn't win the championship he's gonna look back at that money he left on the table. But that's what happens when you consistently get beat by the heat every year
I understand guys that ring chase, and I dont necessarily have a problem with it. You can question the paycut but the motive. It's why you play the game, thats why I salute LeBron coming down to Miami to help that franchise win some trophies, its the ultimate.

Don't they tax the shyt outta NBA players tho? It's not like he was gonna get a check for a straight 11 mil. After taxes he probably looking at 5-6 mil.

He probably figures he can afford to take that hit for a chance to be happy and out of Indy.
Nah that's NFL players. They gotta pay taxes in every city they play in for 16 weeks

We still have to replenish that bench though. Manu is on his retirement tour this year, Cojo gone, Kyle Anderson wasnt impressive last year as a rookie, still need another big or two and some athleticism Off the bench in the WORST way
I like Kyle Anderson's skillet but he prob wont ever be impressive as he should be. He's just way too slow.

It'd be different if he was just an avg athlete, but he's a few notches below average.

Hell if he was even avg athletically he woulda been a lottery pick. I'm holding out hope tho :manny:

Me too and he doesn't have Diaw's size to be the tweener that Diaw is but hopefully he can be the point forward type that Diaw was in Phoenix. We're going to see but he DOES have to step up this season
