Exes are exes for a reason in my book, even if things didn't end on bad terms. I don't care to know how you're doing, you don't need to know how I'm doing, there are no lingering ties, etc. so there's no need for an ex to ever attempt to contact me.

That sounds harsh as hell, but that's just the way I think.
