So it's not really a supporting thing.
Saying XB1 can do both may be true from a technical standpoint, but it's a misleading statement considering that it isn't something it was designed to support like it is with the PS4. I'll let Becky explain:
Granted, if I had to pick from only one over the other I would pick the external drive option. The Nyko databank adapter is available for those that need more than 2 TBs of space. [I have a TON of games and don't NEED 2 TB]
Ideally having a system that could do both would be dope.
None of this has anything to do directly with the OP though. 2 TB is sufficient for most gamers. OP thought slim drives only came in 1TB max.
The point is you can do both, and Microsoft doesn't (historically) give a shyt. They about to release a torrent app, there one drive app allows you to share anything you want with whoever you want. The M$ store has bootleg apps in its main app store, sometimes as featured apps.
Now Sony only has the option to switch out officially because they wanna rape their consumer base. If they cared about its fans they wouldn't have removed the feature in the first place

Hyping up the ability to remove (in this case) would be like hyping up PS Now. They got yall hustling backwards
