But Zach Ryder and heath Slater and sandow are out there getting destroyed AND putting on a show with their character...so what's your point..?

Is it somehow better if those guys just lost their characters and were random CAWs..?

Characters who lose regularly >>>>>>>> LOCAL JOBBER

do you really wanna hear your favorite rapper rip the same beat over and over again? do we need to see the same guys getting beat every week? isn't it more effective if we see the guys on the main roster facing all comers? this is WORLD wrestling entertainment isn't it?

i have no problem with guys like heath slater and zach ryder, but should they really be holding down main roster spots? shouldn't the main roster be reserved for superstars and not jobbers?

So demote Zach Ryder and heath Slater and fandango, so we can promote iron Mike Sharpe, the gambler, and hard work Bobby walker....and this will make the shows better....

how can you demote zach ryder and heath slater any more than they already have been. they appear on raw once a month if that and they lose 100% of the time. that is about as low as you can get. they are bonafide jobbers.

i am not saying get rid of these guys. i'm saying there should be more of them. the main roster guys need jobbers to feed on in order to stay strong.

i'd say pretty much everyone on the main roster loses pretty frequently.

- you have guys that lose 100% of the time (slater, ryder)
- you have guys that lose 80% of the time (r-truth, barret)
- you have guys that lose 50% of the time (ziggler, cesaro)
- you have guys that lose 30% of the time (orton, sheamus) <---- this club is a lot smaller

there's really only a handful of guys that you expect to win on raw and smackdown. everyone else pretty much falls into one of those categories.

imagine that. the majority of the main roster are JOBBERS.

No.

The first group are jobbers. they are the iron Mike Sharpe, brad armstrongs, and roadblocks of the world.

The second group are JOBBER TO THE STARS. KOKO B WARE, aldo Montoya, Hercules, santino marella.

The third group are just mid card journeymen. Al snow, power and glory, one man gang, gangrel.

The last group are superstars. Only like 3-4 dudes lose less than 30% of the time...those are the top of the card..hogan, savage, Cena, nash, taker, etc.

My point:

Nothing has changed. The jobbers just have characters now...the jtts are the same as always...

You just don't know shyt breh...not an insult

Why waste talent like that when you could be working to get them over? The WWE still uses local talent in squash matches so that's something

:comeon:

first of all you can't lump in golden age guys with attitude guys because the pyramid structure was way different. by the time of the attitude era there were no random jobbers. it was star vs star every week.

second wtf are you talking about nothing has changed. back then you didn't have jobbers in the royal rumble. you had 30 legit superstars in there. even the lowest guys on the totem pole, the "jobber to the stars", guys like koko b ware and one man gang... those guys beat up on jobbers all the time. that's how they stayed credible. if they jobbed it was on PPV or on SNME, not weekly tv.

here you have one man gang putting a guy on a f'n stretcher!

look at koko here. dude looks like a f'n beast! put that dude to sleep! and look how over he is!

those guys weren't jobbers, they were just the low guys on the main roster. there wasn't ROOM for jobbers on the main roster.

now the mid card guys on the main roster feed on EACH OTHER! and you wonder why none of them are over!

The ascension, wade barrett, bo dallas, and a few other ones are well-known jobbers.

I think it's good to keep local jobbers on deck in case you want to do some debut matches. It also can give fans a fill of what's to come. Then from there they can go wrestle against some of the well-known jobbers before fued with a credible opponent.

these guys are touted as superstars though. they hold down main roster spots. they compete in the royal rumble. wade barret just won king of the ring. these jabronis make up a large portion of the actual roster now.

and even still they aren't utilized well enough. the mid card guys should be feasting on jobbers non stop, not trading wins and losses with each other in meaningless matches.

Somebody has to take the L. The guys I mentioned aren't climbing the ladder anytime soon. Some of them can't even get matches on raw. I don't remember all of the midcarders having a good win/loss record either. Some midcarders are just bound to lose more than they win.

Midcarders in general should be competing with each other. Jobbers typically get dominated and they really should be only used for dudes that's just debuting or if your trying to build a wrestlers momentum up by tallying up wins. Some people don't care about so and so fueding in the midcard scene.
