Why the hell do we need the ps5 or Xbox X now?

As someone who owns a PS5 and loves it. It really ain't essential right now. I got lucky and scooped one up, but aside from Demon's Souls and Miles, there's nothing really to play that you can't experience elsewhere

Yea that's why I always wait for the price to slash and wait for sony to drop custom systems with that specific game. By that time, developers are familiar with the tech and use the ps5 to it's full potential.

Right now, these new systems are just showing off the graphic upgrades just like when Madden dropped on the Xbox 360. Showing all those corny close ups just to showoff it's potential.

I make more than you and I'd be willing to do a ban bet until 2/1/2021 behind that. The discussion is not being able to afford it, it's the discussion of it even being necessary based on what was presented. I remember a distinct difference from the PS3 - PS4 graphic wise and overall features.

We've been able to quickly resume our games this entire gen, why is this a perk now. Silly.

Never understood the wait and see people. shyt will be $500 in 2 years too. If ur paying the exact same price , why not get it now?, shyt comes with warranty in case it breaks (which is a small chance anyways)

Video gaming is a luxury, some people are gonna have all the latest because they have the extra disposable income to spare. People on this forum have 2000 dollar+ gaming rigs because it’s what they enjoy.

You don’t need to game at all, it’s a hobby. If you feel like spending 500 dollars for load times, better resolution, framerates, new controller features, exclusives and future proofing your entertainment set up then it’s 100% worth it. If you dont care about tech, and just wanna play fifa then obviously you don’t need to spend that type of money.

Breh it's the discussion of it being worth it. Nothing to even do with being a 'tech geek' and enjoying the latest and greatest. I very much am a tech geek, however having something just to have it was never the wave when the latest doesn't have much great about it. I actually wish they held out an additional year so we can actually have a greater set of features and games than what was presented.
