Nah Uncle Ron will be around for awhile if he wants to be...but i don't think he wants to be around for anymore than maybe 2 more years...

It's funny...I always hear people clown ron in the media and on websites...but in the dallas / arlington area....rarely does anyone say anything bad about uncle ron...even the reddest of necks c@c will just be like at worse when talking about him...

Nah, they fired the coaches around Ron, but left him. I think Nolan really likes Ron but the GM doesnt......rumor has it that they've pretty much taken all of Nolan's power away.

@ this Joey Votto slander. Choo and Votto getting on the base is the reason why Phillips had a career high 100 RBIs this season. The Reds got owned by a leftie who's extremely tough on lefty hitters. The Reds did fukk up by not securing home field in that elimination game. I think that front offices are looking for managers who embrace the analytical part of the game.
