Stop it y'all acting like he is obscure on some random bandcamp shyt he isn't. Him atomoshpere, slugs , Del they are all to a certain degree he is a popular musician. His whole archetype is seclusion but go to the his YouTube views and his concerts huge numbers. This is the internet age, ain't no underground musicians anymore it's just lazy fans. Within 30 seconds I can go from looking at mainstream afrobeat music to Japanese ska to zydeco.

MF DOOM is an amazing talent though and he and ghostface bullshytting on that follow up EP

If he was packaged differently, and used a less unorthodox delivery, he could have had more exposure in the mainstream.

But whatevs. He was meant to be underground.

So basically, if he wasn't who he was... he coulda been someone different? :ld:

Ha. I mean with a modified image and flow but similar lyrics and content he could have been in a lane that touched the mainstream. I mean if somebody like Canibus could have a level of mainstream popularity, then a slightly modified DOOM could have as well (not comparing Canibus to him, but providing an example of a super lyrical obscure reference type rapper).
