We kind of saw in real time the “why” of it all with Mos Def.
He fell back just as his star was primed to take off both musically and acting-wise. It is what it is.

I wish he could've been more focused but 97-2000 Mos was top 10 all time IMO. He deserves a spot over Andre 3k

I doubt its “disappointing” to him.
I don’t know why people get so weird about these artists as if you own them. You didn’t make them, you didn’t make the art that got them where they are today, you don’t spend their money, you don’t live in their house, you didn’t bear their children, you don’t fukk them.
What are you even disappointed in? You’ve heard of him, he’s healthy, he’s eating.
You can only be disappointed in him not showing up to a concert you bought tickets for.
