Most actors stopped enunciating or are just poorly trained

the technical people haven't adjusted
True. That’s why classically trained actors are preferred. They’re taught to project their voices and speak clearly. There’s even a trick where they’re taught to talk with a cork in their mouths.

The Hollywood reach for classically trained UK/Euro-based actors isn't accidental :manny:

They're multifaceted AND cheaper? That's the easiest business move any studio will inevitably make.

If I have to rewind more than twice to listen again, then I put on subtitles. Otherwise, I generally don't use them.
