True. That’s why classically trained actors are preferred. They’re taught to project their voices and speak clearly. There’s even a trick where they’re taught to talk with a cork in their mouths.

I feel the opposite. Dialog is fine but I feel like so many tv and movies are so cinematically dark now. I have to adjust my brightness all the way up for most movies

If I have to rewind more than twice to listen again, then I put on subtitles. Otherwise, I generally don't use them.
