Thought it was just me and my best friend.

:scusthov: at the time we wasted trying to beat it. nikkas teamed up and everything. I loved that game tho
You loved that game because of the characters...that's one of the worst designed video games I could remember. It was just a step above unbroken.

Ruined many childhoods.

I remember the reason why Devil May Cry 3 was so hard on normal was because Capcom switched the difficulty for the overseas releases. So hard mode in Japan was normal mode everywhere else.

No telling how many other Capcom games they've done this too in the past.:lupe:

Games back then ruined many childhoods. I played a ton of NES and Genesis games before getting anSNES and I remember thinking WTF who beats these games?! :damn:

I had internet way back then too and you couldn't even find help in the early 90s online. You just had to man that shyt up and learn to fear seeing that "01" or "00" knowing you on your LAST life, no passwords, no check points, and a bullshyt boss ready to wreck your shyt 10 feet away.

I remember beating playing Super Ghouls N Ghost on the SNES for hours and finally beat the last boss, It was the best feeling in the world.:ahh:

Then the game tells me "You cannot rescue the princess without the magical bracelet. Please go back and find it."

And they send me back to the first stage to find the bracelet ON A HARDER DIFFICULTY!:wtf:

I was like fukk that and told my brother to sent that game back to Funcoland.:camby:

Funcoland was the shyt! Going there was like kid heaven because they had every cartridge ever made :ohlawd:

i remember my dad and i coppin this when it came out im 26 now and i still cant beat this shyt :beli:

One of the gayest games ever made. I know I never beat this shyt. I remember the first stage being some kind of building hop or something with robots. When I finally made it past that the next stage or 2 was straight ridiculous. :camby:

DMC 3 was easy as fukk. Nightmare and Heaven or Hell difficulties were challenging but once you learned the mechanics of Royal Guard or abused Cerberus and the weird energy gun you were good.

I've never, ever used Royal Guard in DMC3, it's all about evasiveness to me when it comes to Devil May Cry (see table hopper in DMC4).:win:

I always thought if i ever got locked up on some long bid i would just take a bunch of old retro games to play cuz they would take forever to try and beat and would make the time go by fast.
