I know and have seen 135 pound women DEAL with 165 pound men with no problems. Ive also seen heavy weights have alot of trouble putting away these same women. You could tell they were embarrassed to. Doing bjj helps women differentiate the difference between a tough guy and a righteous man. When you train BJJ you will train with certified killas. People that have mastered the art and are very dangerous with their hands and legs yet, they have no ego about it and are generally good guys. This helps women understand how many men that posture as being tough really are not.

Not only that but bjj gives women the stamina and skills necessary to properly defend themselves from sexual assaults. A bjj purple belt could easily escape or disable her attacker. BJJ should be apart of every after school program in America and a staple of self defense classes for women that are dedicated to defending themselves.

I hate videos like this... giving women a false sense of security...

It is not that easy to put a resisting opponent to sleep with a cross collar choke while they are standing.

the video isn't to be taken all the way serious. i dont think many women will look at this and think its that easy. its more to illustrate the technique and how its useful. there is another video im looking for that is a better example. its of a guy breaking into a woman's house and her using judo throws and bjj techniques to subdue him.

Cats really acting like they know something about this BJJ. We call women that do bjj girls just so friends that underestimate the gift and that bjj excellence taste that humble pie when they tap.

And she laughed like :russ:

So typical. He was trying to knock the wind outta her so he could say *im sorry u ok* but nah. We prepare for that. Deep breath and, NO, Tap. He had no honor but thats a typical response from a man getting Crushed by that BJJ :youngsabo: :whoo:

And that was just a Light sparring session compared to some of the wars ive been through on that mat :whoo: One of my actual friends cracked my chest plate from a knee on belly once. We were just havin fun.

Thats rough. Marcelo Garcia costs like 195 per month. Im sure there are lesser known schools but sheesh. Costs alot to learn these arts. I think its worth it though.

marcelo, from what i heard, is 195 a month but u can only take 3 classes a week. im trying to get the most out of it. shaolin is 190 for 3 classes too. my old school was 250 a month but we also did judo, muy thai, and wrestling along with the bjj. still that was way too much money for a school whose only black belt was a lazy, greedy, judgemental, obese midget with a napoleon complex who didnt teach more than 3 classes a week and had his blue belts teaching :camby:

Wow i pay 125 for 7 days a week but i got in semi early. Lotta bjj schools in california so they have to compete with other prices. Not even beverly hills jiujitsu costs that much
