I just hate the high & mighty finger pointing from the media who have never done anything wrong in their life.

If dudes like Jay Mariotti never got caught, he'd be pointing his fingers as well.

While this is true, beating your wife is a pretty dogshyt thing to do of a person.

It can't be compared to other little mistakes. There's certain things that are really low on the totem pole of humanity, and knocking out a woman is really one of them.

Ray got off easy. He should be thanking whatever higher being that he prays to that he did not suffer more serious consequences.
This is the one thing I think anyone can take from the situation. Ray Rice got two games but if it was the dude who was behind those security monitors recording the whole thing, not only would he have been locked up but probably lost his job too.

its a damn shame how domestic violence largely affect African Americans but a largely(?) African American site is quick to denounce it as trivial :snoop:

Or maybe there's a coloration:snoop:
This is one of the reasons black feminism exists. They see a lot of men like :yeshrug: in regards to their problems so they've decided to go hard for themselves.

While I'm all for second chances and realize we all have fukked up at one point in our lives I don't understand why a lot of you don't grasp the magnitude of what rice did. He's a nfl football player who's stronger then most average people walking the earth and he decked a women, some shyt is more then just a fukk up to where an apology is made and all is forgiven.

I know women can be crazy but outside of her coming at him with a weapon it's hard for me to believe he was in any danger and couldn't have just thrown her off him like a rag doll IF she even did attack him.

What is all of this Ray got of easy shyt? His wife didn't even press charges...so...what was there for him to get off from?

It's obvious she didn't press charges for a reason...it's obvious that in her mind she feels some sort of responsibility for what happened, hence why when the judicial system gave her the opportunity to press charges and send this nikka directly to jail for a long ass time and end his football career...she declined...and i am not ignorant to the fact that a large part of the reason she declined is because she enjoys the lifestyle they both live, afforded to them by the millions of dollars a year Ray makes to play football

The woman that got hit doesn't even want to press charges but the commissioner of the league is supposed to bring the hammer down? Makes no sense

pretty sure Mariotti got arrested for domestic violence.

But you can bet he'd likely be pointing his finger at Rice if he never got caught

Do you know much about domestic violence?

Abused women rarely ever press charges, it's a fact. I`m not saying she feels or doesn't feel responsibility, but abused women rarely ever actually hold their abusers accountable.

It's the absolving that always happens here.

It's always on some "We all make mistakes". They downplay the act when an athlete commits it.

Let it happen to a family member and see how forgiving and how they feel, most these losers probably wouldn't even do a thing. Heart pumps Fanta
