Why would any team in the NBA max out Josh Smith?

One of life's unsolved mysteries. To a man, I don't know one Hawks fan who misses Josh on the team & he does some of everything for you on the basketball court. It's just that his basketball IQ is so low all the time you'll never be productive with him long term if he's your main option or 2nd best player. Plus he bytches too much...to be honest I'm thrilled he's no longer a Hawk

At times I miss him but than I remember the bone headed plays and the jacking up the threes. We're better off without him

you should NEVER pay a max contract to a dude that can't even make an all star game in 8 seasons. especially if he can't lead ur team with two other all stars on the roster past the 2nd round his entire tenure.

shyt wait til Jennings comes back. After a few games of watching him and Smith fight amongst each other for shots, Monroe and Drummond are gonna end up conspiring on which one they wanna murder first. It's gonna be must see TV just to see which one can out-shoot the other in each game.

I can't decide if it would be funnier/worse with Ellis instead of Jennings or not. Ellis and Smith are probably the biggest 2 "absolutely should NOT be shooting 3's, yet continue to do so" players in the league. Atleast Jennings can get on a roll at times and go nuts.
