Not to bash anyone that does, but just like to know the rationale behind it.:ld:

I have a 64gb ipod that i can stream for free and have the latest music seconds after it's out and if it's a certain track you don't have you can always google search it and have it streaming in under a minute.

So what's the point? :dahell:

Tried Spotify for the first time and i am easily impressed. Thought about going premium for that. I guess this is the industry's way to cut down on those who download mp3 or flacs. You can still find decent mp3 or flac ins high quality but you still have to pay weather if you use premium account for Upload or usenet. There's hardly any legit free services except for torrents (which can be useful at times). I still prefer them mp3 files properly tagged stuff.

Convenience for me, I pay the $10 for Spotify and its nice to be able to check out albums on the fly that I don't feel like downloading and unzipping otherwise. Back in the day when I was in college it was nothing for me to download everything new and old and check shyt out but now that I'm older with a job I don't really have the time for that shyt. So if I'm on the coli and nikkas are saying the Luda album is dope or I see that Wale just dropped and I stopped checking for him after Ambition, I can hop on Spotify while on my phone and check them out for myself instead of downloading them. Youtube is cool but on TMobile data is capped after certain data thresholds are reached so I'm not trying to use up all of my data youtubing albums, plus with Spotify I can do other shyt while listening and I can't do that with Youtube. There's also a gang of CDs that I copped in college(this is early and mid 00s when buying CDs was still the norm) that I never bothered ripping, so now with Spotify I can have access to those at my leisure.
