Do you complain when other epic games take place, yet the first thing on ESPN will be LeBron dunking on Mark Williams (in a losing effort)?

Probably not. It goes both ways. ESPN needs to stop covering that effete clown who can't play without air conditioning and focus on Steph and the up and coming generation.
Some of you dudes got MAGA levels of detachment from reality. Like what the fukk are you even saying bozo :laff:

He can't relate. He was anointed and protected the majority of his career. He' still being protected. Steph Curry got 4 rings in a shorter time frame and took 3 of 4 from him. Yet, nobody has Steph in the overall goat conversation. he has to settle for being the greatest shooter of all-time, They still trying to make this geezer a top 15 player. Lakers were just gifted the best player in the league, let the Lakers win the title, it'll be all about LeBron, Luka will be a footnote,
Curry wasnt even the best player on that team for most of the dynasty only had 1 finals mvp and for one of those series people were saying Bron should’ve won finals mvp even though he lost. If bron only had 1 finals MVP yall would cook him stop bringing up curry respectfully

I remember a playoff series recently where Malika, Bob Myers and Perk and SAS were on the court before a playoff game and Bron came up and dapped everyone up while they were on live

SAS was the last one to get greeted and he kept his head down and was quiet AF until LeBron came to him. He gave a meekish “hey” and that was it.

I always thought that was LeBron big bro’ing SAS and a subtle thing.

Wish that interaction was on Youtube
I found it lol.. Bron def “big bro’d” him

This is why MJ is the GOAT

He would take on all criticism and overcome!!!
I guess you never seen the MJ interview where he's wearing dark shades beads of sweat coming down his forehead while he's being asked if he's has a gambling problem. At the same time he was shaking dice in his left hand, smh.

In Jordan's era I don't ever recall "hating" being in the national media. Especially once he broke through.

It'd be fans who disliked certain players or teams. However, wasnt really a media push. I think the only people who really got dissed were Rodman and Barkley and it was more for off the court reasons.

you didn’t witness Jordan’s era so how would you even know in the 1st place?

The media use to hype bird and magic as “winners” while jordan was the phenomenal athlete with highlights but wasn’t winning championships. Despite ignoring the fact the lakers and Celtics were gift wrapped picks/players In woat trades and the bulls had to build their championship team from
Scratch. There’s a reason jordan cried when he won his 1st championship

Because tv media sports were largely covered by people who enjoyed sports at the time. The most negative rage bait and bullshyt was largely reserved to radio. Now television mirrors radio and it's killing the NBA. People who don't even cover the NBA were shytting on it to elevate the NHL last week during the All Star/4 Nation Tournament.

It's obvious that Shaq and Charles don't watch NBA games. They don't know the players and don't care. Why is that the flagship media team for covering games?

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
it's race related based on what exactly? You could probably use the racist standpoint on guess like Magic, Bird, Jordan, Kobe, Iverson, etc. But not the current league. The players simply do not love the game and it shows,

The racism has been so subtly ingrained in HOW the media critique players that even you question if it exists. Kyrie’s situation wasn’t racist? Okay. The critique or lack thereof of Josh Giddy sexing underaged girls ain’t racist? Malika Andrews lets us know that our Black players are held to different standards every time she gets a chance.

They love the game, just in a different way. You mean to tell me brehs from back in the days who smoked and drank alcohol in the locker rooms during halftime, loved the game too? They did, but in a different way. I don’t like the culture of today’s players, but let’s not go overboard. We don’t love the same. They just have a different RESPECT for the game compared to the past. The league needs to take responsibility for that more than anyone. We blame the players, but the league dictates, er we’ll let me take that back. It’s a player’s league now. Not a dictatorship.

Everything about the NBA as a brand is so shytty right now but the owners leave Silver alone because he signs a few network deals and the money keeps rolling
