Neither. It was the fact that she was there.
Do you have issue with her answering your phone calls from your supervisor and showing up to your job
If so, how did that conversation go?

I’ve never seen a successful retaliation claim because someone’s spouse complained about someone questioning if the spouse was truthful. Was there a complaint of discrimination? If not, her complaint is not considered protected activity. If they were to terminate due to my wife filing a complaint against them then that would be an example of retaliation, and I would have grounds for legal action. Also the supervisor in question is not my supervisor, technically, I do not answer to them, I answer to the operations manager. had it been me, I would have gone another route, but that's my wife. I will tell her she's wrong in private, but I'm not going to go against her in public or on some forum. And from what i was told, she was very professional in airing her grievances, so I can't really get mad at her for dealing with something she obviously felt was a serious issue.
That being said...a heads up would have been cool.
I'm 49. And the landline was free with our internet package. It helps so that people that I don't know don't have access to my or her cell phone.People keep forgetting that it wasn't me that felt disrespected. I didn't take the call. I had no idea this even occurred until I got to work.Nah if my girl showed up to my job id call her fukking crazy...I'm a grown ass man, I can handle my own shyt
And why the fukk are they calling the home? You still got a home phone, you like 55 years old? Cos if you that old, I take it back
They didnt talk to her like an employee, but they crossed the line prying into their businessYou don't call somebody's spouse talking to them like that person is your employee. I can't believe anybody thinks she's wrong here.
Yeah… idk if this is good or badppl cosigning this?

The retaliation claim would come about if they fired ME because SHE filed the formal complaint. It would never happen on something this minor, but ya never know how foolish some folks can be.I’ve never seen a successful retaliation claim because someone’s spouse complained about someone questioning if the spouse was truthful. Was there a complaint of discrimination? If not, her complaint is not considered protected activity.
I've been there 23 years... I should be good. At home now, so I was able to ask Yvonne if there was something about this story that I was leaving out, and she says that this incident isn't the first time that this particular supervisor has gotten out of pocket with her over the phone. Apparently This was the 3rd time that they had butted heads, and she was tired of it.It sounds risky, but the job market is the way it is because people don't speak up for themselves. And if you have some pull at your workplace, this ain't a big deal really.
Why you think it’s about him?your wife is cool as hell OP
wish my girl liked me that much.
