He's a web developer who went to college for 7 years (and changed majors 3 times) but eventually dropped out after all that. He sounds like a shiftless loser honestly and the fact that he couldn't name what "selfish garbage" his wife allegedly spends all their extra money on is pretty telling. He doesn't even make enough for there to be that kind of discretionary funds for her to selfishly spend so the mf is probably talking about a gallon of milk or some shyt.

If you go to the original thread he says they live in ATLANTA. 100k for a single adult is barely enough in most major cities, let alone fukking Atlanta. The fact that he thinks "$100k is a lot of money" for a family of SIX in ATL is insane.
Assuming he doesn’t live in the city proper, 100k is good money in the metro area. Maybe not for a family of 6, but probably enough for a family of 3 to live relatively comfortably. It’s plenty for a single person in Atlanta, even inside the perimeter. Probably shouldn’t have had that many kids, lol.

At $100k it sounds like he's cobbling together SquareSpace sites or any other of the 1000 click to create a website services. That's the definition of a 'web developer' nowadays.

Ain't no software engineer on the front end or back end accepting $100k salaries in Atlanta Metro or remote anywhere in the country. Any somewhat competent Jr. Software Engineers are doing more than that in their first jobs.

Daycare is the great American mistake.

Nah your wife needs to be at home being a mother to your kids.

Kids being thrown into daycare at inception is why their mentalities are messed up
I don't necessarily disagree with you. But soon as you send them to school its time to get a job.

they need to lower their expenses and she needs to get a job

she probably just want him working longer hours so she can cheat more
Aint no "lowering expenses" with 4 kids and a bytch that dont work.

Everything you buy, you buying for 4 or 5.

Everything you cook, you cooking for 4 or 5.

Imagine that pot of spaghetti you cooked a month ago? How long would it have lasted if it was for 4 people. Not even 2 full days.

Me and my wife make around 500k a year combined. We got 2 kids. We took a very noticeable hit to our finances. shyt had me going over our expenses thinking somebody had hacked our back accounts.

I couldn't imagine financially taking care of 4 kids and woman who don't work with 100k. That dude probably skipping breakfast, having depression for dinner and washing it down with insomnia. It aint no way he got a dollar in his pocket after expenses are paid.

This is true plus nanny and childcare if the wife works expenses go up. To go to public school means a place around morning side so a million dollar house for a 4 bedroom

Honestly two kids shouldn’t have y’all like that bro. I don’t wanna get in y’all business but :yeshrug: Maybe yall bad with money.

This part Not towards you but in general, we are living above our means at the highest level in this country.

Growing up our parents was poor and if we didn’t have it or couldn’t afford it, we didn’t get it.

If you have 4 kids and make 100k like op, your kids shouldn’t be private schools :manny:

Y’all shouldn’t be hardly eating out much, especially if you have a stay at home wife.

Vacations should be once a year.

I'm not about to do mental gymnastics and assume he actually lives way out in the burbs in the greater metro, I'm taking him at face value because if he lived elsewhere he would/should've said so.

Regardless, he's chirping about how 100k is "good money" meanwhile he has a family of SIX, not three so it is what it is :manny:

I think his lack of degree and college history are what's holding him back. He desperately WANTS/needs 100k to be sufficient because he knows he's already hit his salary max and resents his wife for expecting him to earn more when logically he knows he really can't.
