Too many men shack up with female Jodies under the under impression that the measure of being a man & father entails they struggle to make ends meet while grinning and bearing the demands of entitled buffoons that are more akin to their child than their partner and wife. My brother -- I love him to death -- is another fool. He's military in the south with 4 kids with a wife that refuses to work and yet she finds the time to complain about the car he got her and frequently compares what she and my nieces/nephews get to what's going on in my household.

I have three girls and make roughly 7.6x what he makes as an E3 in the military and my wife also works. She could afford an occassional luxury electronic purchase, a vacation or a random spa day if she actually got off her ass and contributed, but a lot of women in these situations are bums masquerading under the title of a "housewife" when really, they're losers with no discernible employable skills seeking a second childhood and a fool willing to accommodate them.

He lives on base. They're taken care of but he has to budget nickels and dimes. Nowhere near as comfortable as they'd be if she'd actually get a job.

My wife makes close to $100k a year and we'd need a hell of a lot more kids to make the math work for her to stay home.

I make a hell of a lot more than she does....and as long as her take home is $1 more than the total cost of daycare....they are going to daycare and she's gong to work.
