Both trades aren't that bad

Like @jaguar paw saud, Wiggins wouldn't have reached his star potential playing 3rd fiddle to Bron and Kyrie
OKC got Steven Adams out of it and Lamb who has potential(he just needs playing time)

Outside of the Deron Williams and Wiggins' trades , you usually don't receive equal value for trading All-Stars.
Why couldnt he reach star potential?
4 years playing with yhe best in the world who plays your position and a top 3 pg vs being a big fish in a tiny no winning pond having to figure it out

Wiggins is not the best shooter and likes to operate in the post. Bron takes a lot of shots at the rim, and Bron dominates the ball.

How does that hinder the fact wiggins could improve his shooting in 4 years on a rookie deal?

The Harden deal, Cavs got one of the best pfs in the league. It's Cavs fault for not utilizing him the right way

Why did the favs have to be a win now team?

Yes lebron came off four straight finals appearances but if wiggins lands there with lebron u still get a playoff team with a nucleus thats young af and a leader who has title experiance and is loved but entire state for returning

Because Bron is 30 and will be a FA after the season. He wants to win immediately and is really the most powerful person in the entire organization so his will matters most. Love is exactly the type of player LBJ thrives next to. Not Wiggins who may not even hit his prime before LBJ is out of his own

Harden trade. If Lebron wanted Love, damnit, he's getting Love. Harden trade was OKC being cheap

How is this even a debate? It's clearly the Harden trade & there's no other logical choice..

OKC traded a sure dynasty away for some scrubs because their owners are cheap while the Cavs got rid of Wiggins away to get the best player in the World & an all star forward in return.

Harden will be looked at as worse and I'm not sure it's close. They basically traded this nikka for Jeremy Lamb. Jeremy. Lamb. JEREMY. LAMB

EDIT: Lamb traded to the Hornets a few hours later :russ:

I do think the OKC trade was worse but let's keep it funky how was OKC going to keep 3 max contracts on the roster without sacrificing some key depth. Also for as good as those 3 were, Harden had to come off the bench because the 3 of them need heavy touches on the ball in order maximize the scoring. Also while Harden is also a good facilitator it would have been a tricky proposition. I think the Thunder made a mistake in not finding the money to keep Kevin Martin, because Jeremy Lamb is looking real bust-like right now.
