Japan wasnt making what the people wanted RPG wise. Alot of games just lacked imagination.

Those old JRPGs in the PS1/PS2 era made the Playstation brand. When I see PS3 making these first person American shooters to keep up with M$, I see them 2 sides of the same coin. Sony lost their identity in the console race and just fighting against M$ over scraps.

That is why I to Nintendo for evolving at their own pace and continue to make quality AAA games.

One of the most critically acclaimed JRPG's this generation was on a Nintendo system, so they get props for that.

where are they saying that wii u has the best gaming experience this christmas? i haven't seen one site that has made that claim yet. let's just be serious you're peeved about the next gen game reviews especially the ones on x1 games. imo it really looks like you're hating on the new mario game because it got a better score than forza 5.

A lot of reviewers don't even play through the entire game before slapping on a score, and even if they do play the entire game, they don't have enough time to get the most out of the games.

i some how doubt you would be saying this if forza 5, killer instincts, or dead rising 3 scores meta scores were higher than they are.

I dont know how u can compare mario to 2k or battlefield....two completly different games...u may like FPS or an NBA game, I for one dont play either very often, so no matter how high the rating are on those games, Ill get more play outta Mario....

that's funny because i only saw cvg, gizmodo, n4g, and eurogamer. the rest were forums discussions on websites, non gamer websites for women and parents, idigital times, various gamer fourms relinking the arabic gamers link, and unknown game websites that generally hold no sway over the majority of gamers casual or hardcore.

I won't lie, I want a Wii U. But I barely have time to play my ps3, so I don't think buying a Wii U is a smart decision, esp because I plan on getting a Ps4 sometime next year.

MAG, Killzone and Resistance are the only FPS titles exclusive to the PS3. Besides that Sony makes a variety of other games but they are overshadowed by the mainstream games that's catered towards mature audiences. I'm sure most people dismiss or forget these other non shooting games by Sony:

Valkyria Chronicles
Puppeteer
Tearaway(Vita)
Gravity Rush(Vita)
Playstation All Stars(criminally underrated)
Modnation Racers
Ni No Kuni
Sly 4
and a few more that don't come to mind. Hell Persona 5 just was announced for PS3 2014

None of that is groundbreaking. Seems to be just a "best of Mario" compilation game.

And it's not unique when compared to other games of its genre, the same as killzone, bf4, ect.

The game is literally better than any next gen game I played so far..and that's real talk.. I was playin that shyt today and I was glued to it..Wii U and 3DS got it this Christmas games wise..
