Which is a really damn shame because hardware power isn't as important as having a fun gaming experience. Today's gamers have their priorities out of whack.



Well in this generation so far:
RPG: Xenoblade X is superior to Fallout 4.
Action: Baonetta 2 is the best.
FPS/TPS/Shooting: Splatoon is way more fun than Call of Duty/Halo
Racing: Mario Kart 8 is way more fun than Gran Turismo/Forza Motorsports/Need for Speed
Fighting: C'mon.....you'd rather play Street Fighter than Super Smash Bros?

RPG: Witcher 3 is not on the Wii U, Fallout 4 is not on the Wii U either...along with many other RPG titles
Action: Yeah, Bayonetta got this
FPS/TPS/Shooting:
Racing: Forza Horizon 2 is probably the best racing game of all time.
Fighting: Street Fighter V will be relevant for an entire generation and already the biggest fighting game in the world.

Nintendo fans don't need to act like they wouldn't like any other 3rd party games on their system. Like nikkaz in here acting like to enjoy Nintendo games, you must dislike other games. SMH. I like Uncharted just as much as Super Smash Bros just as much as RPG games just as much as a racing game. No need to put down one because it ain't on your system.

Nintendo probably need to go to being a strictly software company, just be a developer and get out of the ahrdware biz altogether.
Their handheld dominance is eroding too thanks to cellphone gaming, and they haven't even thought of making their own cellpohne game marketplace or porting titles to android or apple stores.

The Wii "dominated" sales wise, but was a garbage ass console. The Wii U is MUCH better in that regard because it didn't rely on a gimmick ass controller scheme. The Wii U name scared gamers off...nobody wanted to buy anything with the Wii name attached to it after Nintendo thew out the Wii in 2006

The Wii was better in play control and any realm you wanna discuss incomparison to psiii and 360. That is not an adult rated game like gta.

It even outsold them.
The problem with Nintendo is they need to launch like they always used to and bring in a real super Mario with Zelda and a metroid that is not a huff ass first person shooter like they ruined the GC with, right behind it.
Not as a wait and see.
We not waiting to see Mario, samus and link.
we need to know it is on the way and completed and we are buying the console for that.
Plus, Nintendo needs to make aki or whomever owns the no mercy engine and give us a create a wrassler game that updates no mercy.

NO way was the Wii better than the 360 (A top 5 all time console) or the PS3. That is ridiculous.

People really think that by defending Nintendo you MUST hate Sony/Microsoft. I was actually considering getting a PS4 for Star Ocean 5/Exist Archive but whatever.

The most important thing about a video game is whether or not it's fun. Not how realistic the graphics are. If you can play a game and have a ton of fun with it then it has succeeded in its purpose. Mario Kart is more fun than Gran Turismo. They're both racing games that play differently. But they're still both racing games. Splatoon is a shooting game, an unconventional one, but still a shooting game. And saying Street Fighter V is better than Super Smash Bros. seriously doesn't warrant a response.

A game can be fun and still look amazing. Better graphics doesn't correlate to less fun. This argument isn't good at all. Just because Nintendo skimps out each gen with weak hardware doesn't mean they're doing it for the sole focus of providing fun gameplay. There's loads of games on other platforms that are just as fun and looking great.

Honestly don't think it's the end of Wii U. it has a great amount of fun games tbh, and still has a game of the year coming up in Zelda Wii U.

I said this since the E3 last year. Wii U was a nice concept, but Nintendo relied on concept for far too long, and too much. If they dropped these fun games from start, they wouldn't be having this problem right now. They probably though people would love watching netflix and shyt on their gamepads for months while they work on games.
