I know alot of people who own a PS3/PS4 who use it for netflix and barely play any games. They'll just buy a 'hot' game every once and awhile only to play it for a couple of days and sell it back to the store. It's like they only purchased the PS4 as a status symbol (think expensive car, the latest iphone, latest Jordans) and aren't genuine gamers.

I think that's the average "gamer" unfortunately. That's why we always see the big AAA games that aren't really good sell so well (*cough* Far Cry Primal and COD *cough*)
This forum is full of hardcore gamers, but we're not the norm. Most of my friends are casuals. In fact, I only have one friend that's a "true gamer" like us in the Arcadium. Most gamers are simply casuals that buy yearly rehash releases. The numbers don't lie.
We're in a bubble here in the Arcadium. Of the thousands of people on the coli, only like 40 of us are regularly active on this subforum. But I bet a ton of posters that don't post in here have PS4s for COD, 2K, and Madden. The market is made for casuals like them. That's why we get so many run of the mill rehashed annual games now.

Right. I don't see it being backwards compatible considering the stupid ass gamepad that's attached to the Wii U.
The Wii U was my first Nintendo console since the original NES. I should have gotten a PS4 instead. I only got the Wii U because I have kids and was feeling nostalgic and homotional at the time

This was what made me really started hating the Wii U and stopped fukking with it. I think I even made a thread about it. How the hell could they have done that?- Underpowered
- Overpriced
- Poor third party support
- no mainline Zelda game until 4 years in
- 1-2 great games per year tops
- annoying tablet gimmick
- horrible retail sales
- dumb decisions like no ethernet port on the back (explains everyone lagging online)
PS1, PS2, PS3, N64, Gamecube, Dreamcast, Xbox, Xbox 360 were all better. Even the Wii, at least that thing sold and had Super Mario Galaxy. Nintendo needs to step it up.

shyt was like a ds with a tv. wasn't even even offering anything new like the wii. resistive touch and not capacitive like phones been had for 8 years now. nothing interesting about a touch screen either. the muhfukkers were like $150 to replace so that's why came out with 360 graphics when the 360 was on the way out.
i hope nintendo doesn't fukk around with no dumb shyt with the new console. they're still able to put out heat rocks after heat rocks but there's never anything else to play other than their own shyt.
as disappointing as the wii u is it still beats this woat 1st party output gen. if i didn't already have a ps4 i'd pick up that NX and stick with that and my PC. only bloodborne in 3 years an arguable classic

Nintendo knows how to make money, but let's not act like the predictions of them falling in the console market was wrong. The Wii U (great hardware) is selling like shyt and it's their own fault.
Man I just hope they have a firesale on these games. sooo many wii u games I skip out on because they always 59.99. wtf.
