Rod Carew started his career with 18 consecutive All-Star Game appearances.

Tony Gwynn's lowest batting average was .289 in his rookie year, after that he averaged a .339 BA for the rest of his career.

Here's a goofy one, the 1988 Orioles started the season 0-21

Imagine only getting hit once every ~10 punches , which may only be a tap or glancing blow. If you have a career full of mega-fights while keeping numbers like that then you may have better health and more money than most professional athletes who play physically-demanding sports.

Each baseball game has 12,386,344 possible plays.

An 18-year-old Tommy Ross scored the quickest soccer hat trick ever...90 seconds.

Larry Fitzgerald has more tackles than dropped passes.

No KC Chiefs WR in 2014 caught a TD pass

Johnny Unitas had 47 straight games with a TD pass from 1956-1960, a record that wasn't beaten until fukking 2012 in a league that was so much more geared toward passing it's incomprehensible.
