when i first got into football, i thought the swac was a regular D-1 conference.

alcorn & grambling highlights were on tv on the regular. and i used to have those football season preview booklets from the beer distributor. the swac conference teams & schedules were listed right in between the sec & the old swc.

steve mcnair & eddie robinson were BIG NAMES.

Man, I remember going to Delaware State when Shaheer McBride was a player and no one on campus gave a fukk. Dude was a blast to watch.
