You typed several posts saying Americans would still hold antipathy for Japanese if we were still in conflict with them. As already stated, it was already a given that the premise was based upon there not being a state of conflict, so your assertion was irrelevant.
Understanding that the static environment is a state of peace, many people told you that many Americans have a fondness for Japanese media, food, technology, culture, etc. Most Americans live in a bubble and don't care much about what's going on outside our borders anyway, but we like our video games, TVs, cameras, hibachi steakhouses, Godzila, Samurai flicks, Voltron, katana blades, Dragon Ball Z etc. so we kinda look at the Japanese like

more than we do most nations.
It's really is that simple. This is what Americans are telling you and you live in India. I think we might have a slightly better perspective on this than you. All this other shyt you're talking is a bunch of meaningless fluff. You didn't understand the initial premise now you're just talking around the edges and saying nothing. Whether or not Americans could've predicted we'd develop an affinity for the Japanese in 1940 has nothing to do with you missing the point.
