I don't think it'll make a difference.
Drake is easily the most popular Hip Hop artist in the game now, but I'm not sure that people see him as its best lyricist. Nas said one that "when you get to a certain point in your career, people will work hard to find flaws." It's no secret that dude doesn't have many industry friends. He's said it himself. Cats aren't happy about his success. Kanye has repeatedly said he's the best, but we never saw any ghostwriting backlash, even when he admitted that he didn't write some of his biggest records. Nobody cared, because we all liked him. LOL!! But when you're not that likable, people will definitely try to bury you if they see what might be a crack in the armor.
But this isn't a Nas, Kendrick or even Cole. It's Drake. People's parents buy Drake records. They don't care about whether or not someone is saying he didn't write all his joints. It's like when Puff was at his peak, nobody cared who wrote those records. People just cared about the actual records. That's the kinda artist that Drake is. He's not a Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Common or Scarface level type of MC, so it probably won't make a difference to most people. Authenticity, when it matters, is usually associated with artists who are kinda more on the traditional grassroots side of things. Drake is borderline Pop, and that's no diss to the dude.
