Will EA make another Fight Night this year?

I may be a bit blinded by nostalgia I give u that but that video
Was a bad example to show it had slow punching. And I thought champion was a lil too fast n u could just button mash / randomly flick the stick n get wins. I liked it but I hated that part of it. Loved the pushing and the mike Tyson head movement Tho.

I used to murder cats online who wanted to button mash or were too obvious with what they were doing. I'd just stay far enough out of range until they lunged in then I'd counter with a power straight right. If you could time your opponent coming in and know when to duck it was a wrap. And if somebody button mashed too much I'd just dance around for 2-3 rounds until their stamina drained and then turn up the pressure. By round 6-7 it was over. I loved Fight Night Champion and wish there was some next gen version of it, even if it was just a port.

no.... ea doesn't want to SPEND enough money to make this happen... if 2k and madden can go to each individual legend, and get them to sign over rights... i'm for damn sure ea could get 20-30 boxers... actually i know they can cause they've done it at least 5 times already

i think they think boxing just sucks right now, so it won't sell. but damn it's a WIDE OPEN market... there's literally NO boxing games

I have some great ideas for a career mode in boxing games, but EA would never use them, plus their depiction of boxing sucks

Don't worry though, if I come into a couple million dollars I'll have a studio make an indie game for PS4/X1

The best career mode in a boxing game is Victorious Boxers 2, the Japanese version, not the one we got stateside.

You can do the following.

• Set a training schedule to build your regimen with exercise, food, sleep, etc.
  
• Go up and down in weight from flyweight to heavyweight
  
• Fail to meet weight and miss fights based on when you've set your next fight for
  
• Win belts in various fictional alphabet organizations
• Watch 'tape' on your upcoming opponent
• Go up and down in various organizations ratings so while you can be #8 in one and #5 in another.
• Many other things.

The game is piff. It's a PS2 game but good games never die so I use my OG PS3 to still play it with Open PS2 Loader since it is a Japanese ISO and I have an OG PS3 with the PS2 hardware in it.

I knew about VB2, I'd still all those and add on things to the career mode like your boxer opening his own gym or becoming a promoter towards the end of his career where you can manage a stable of fighters, randomly generating prospects with different stats, some with really high work ethics that you can train more but lack skill, guys that are really skilled but don't work as hard and then the prized prospects that do both

That way the career mode doesn't actually end

I got tons of more ideas, but mostly I'd want an accurate or at least a better boxing sim. Those FN games were honestly shyt when it came to recreating boxing in the ring and I can't say any game has really been close.

I'll look around for the free version of that Droid game

Birdman's special move consists of Imma Ride playin and you get "cut" and "slashed".
You can play as fat rick ross or slim rick ross.
