Link the interview...does WhoKid still defend Hulk Hogan? I know he did when he thought it was about his interview...but I think most white people don't want their daughters or sisters dating someone affiliated with Hip Hop culture ...Guys from all ethnic backgrounds all want the same thing but I guess guys who follow hip hop have the perception of being way more open and aggressive about having a body count and just fukking and not caring about woman and being mysoginistic...i'm sure even black fathers don't want their daughters dating rappers

Listen to the interview for yourself WhooKid keeps defending Hogan no matter what Sam Roberts say's.

He defends him all the way to the end even when they bring up what he said behind closed doors about Brooke.

"That's not the Hogan I know," said James Harris, who earned international fame in the 1980s and '90s as Kamala "The Ugandan Giant." "Hogan always treated me like a gentleman."

Matches featuring Hogan and Harris drew sellout crowds at arenas across the country, including New York's Madison Square Garden in 1986. Hogan often expressed concern that Harris wasn't being compensated fairly during their main event run.

"He genuinely cared about me," Harris said. "He was my friend. He'd tell me, 'Brother, I'm getting my money. I hope you're getting yours, because you're putting asses in the seats.'

"When it came to our matches, he valued my input. He'd always say, 'What do you want to do out there, brother?' I'd tell him, and then we'd go out there and do it. He's a sweetheart of a guy."

Harris said he wasn't angry when he learned that Hogan had secretly been recorded using racial slurs in a sex tape transcribed by the National Enquirer last week. He said Hogan simply "got caught with a hidden recorder and said something he probably didn't mean."

The WWE disassociated itself from Hogan—removing all references to the Hall of Famer on its website—when news of the tape surfaced last week.

"I'm not mad at him at all," said Harris. "Deep down, he's really not like that. He's a super-nice guy. I don't believe he's a racist at all, no matter what he said."

Asked what he'd say to Hogan if he saw him now, Harris said, "The first thing I'd do is shake his hand and hug him, just like we always do. That wouldn't change. Then I might say, 'Hey man, what happened?' But it'd be with a smiling face."

wrestlers are racist, newsflash

I'm almost certain it was either Stone Cold or Shawn Michaels who wrote the N-word on Ahmed Johnson's car when he won the intercontintental title

this also came off way too natural

Let's keep it 100. Brooke is not much of a looker herself. Even after the plastic surgery. So she's not exactly a "prize". So the "not on her level" hints at something else.

Yeah, probably. But all father's think their daughters are beautiful and have a tough time accepting any man they date as being "good enough" for them.. so there's probably that in there too, but no doubt he had a probably with his daughter being with a black man. Which is awful no matter what, but is even more awful thinking that even after years of being Co worker and friend to so many great Black athletes he could still feel this way.

I feel like Hulk deserved to be fired he deserves to have this hung over his head for the rest of his life and he deserves scrutiny but I don't know if it should have all he's done in the business and all his accomplishments erased

From what I've seen online, the "WWE Universe" aren't even angry with Hogan. People went at Booker T harder than they did the self admitted racist which isn't unexpected.
The majority of their audience are lower to middle class Caucasian Americans. A lot likely say the same things in their home, primarily if their daughter considers allowing melanin inside of her holes.
They get where Hulk was coming from. Plus it was in the past.
It's not like he attacked Jews or the LGBT community. He only tossed out "******" here and there.
In this country? Long term, Hogan will be fine.

Considering the nature of wrestling and the majority of it's fans. I'd say that he can be "redeemed" in 3-5 years depending on what he does to clean his image. Media and WWE will pick up the story because they love a comeback and most wrestling fans don't want him to be Benoit'd.

BUT, like most people have already said. No, he can't really redeem himself. What he said was coming from a very rotten and deep place inside of him so if you really care about race issue - and you should - you shouldn't buy into any media created "redeeming story" that can come out of this.
